A cannabis leaf drawn over a maple leaf, with CANNABIS arched above, .999 on each side of the leaf, and FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR along the lower rim. Proof finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices.

A crowned skeletal profile facing right, the crown band inscribed OBEY, within the legends KEEP CALM above and AND SLAVE ON below. A second obverse-type design, so the round has no conventional reverse.
Attributed to the SBSS program (AOCS Mint branch), 2013, pending contemporary documentation. Undated; no brand legend, mint mark, AOCS marking or COA. Date and issuer rest on a February 2014 forum compilation and dealer listings. Rim serial 0091; edition size not established.
The 2013 Your Highness/Cannabis (Slave Queen) double-obverse proof from Silver Bullet Silver Shield sold heavily through a single dealer's relists when new in 2013, then traded only sporadically in the years since. Prices have held in a fairly tight band regardless of era, generally $30-$75.

2013 Cannabis & Slave Queen Double Obverse SBSS Proof Silver Round Overview
2013 Cannabis & Slave Queen Double Obverse SBSS Proof Silver Round brings two of the most recognizable Silver Bullet Silver Shield designs together on one ounce of .999 fine silver. Neither face is a conventional reverse. One side shows a cannabis leaf drawn over a maple leaf and the other a crowned skeletal portrait, which is why the piece is catalogued as a double obverse. For cataloguing, the cannabis face is designated the obverse and the Slave Queen face the reverse. Dealers and collectors usually sell the round as “Your Highness,” a name that is not struck anywhere on the coin.
The cannabis face borrows the look of a maple leaf bullion coin and swaps in a cannabis leaf. CANNABIS arches across the top, .999 sits on either side of the leaf, and FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR runs around the lower rim. The bilingual purity wording is a deliberate wink at the Canadian bullion format the design lampoons. The Slave Queen face is a satirical take on a familiar crowned royal profile: the head is a skull on an exposed spine, the crown band reads OBEY, and dealer descriptions identify the symbols above it as a poppy blossom, a Rothschild crest and an all-seeing eye. KEEP CALM arches over the portrait and AND SLAVE ON curves beneath it, a sendup of the wartime “Keep Calm and Carry On” slogan. Dealer listings credit Heidi Wastweet as the designer of the Slave Queen face; the designer of the cannabis face is not documented.
The round belongs to the Silver Bullet Silver Shield (SBSS) program, documented in the Texas Stacker’s SBSS collection. The program kept returning to a small stable of designs and recombined them in different pairings, metals and finishes, and this round is one of those pairings. A hobbyist compilation of SBSS issues posted to the Silver Stackers forum in February 2014 lists a “Your Highness” proof dated 2013 and a separate “Your Highness” brilliant uncirculated version dated 2014, both under the Rob Gray production line. The example catalogued here is a proof, with mirrored fields and frosted devices.
This example is individually numbered. The number 0091 appears on the rim, with no prefix, no edition total and no other rim text, so the size of the numbered run is not established. Other SBSS proofs were sold with numbered certificates of authenticity; this example has none, and neither the coin nor any accompanying document carries an AOCS marking.
2013 Cannabis & Slave Queen Double Obverse SBSS Proof Silver Round Attribution
No date is struck on either face. The year 2013 is therefore an attribution, based on the February 2014 forum compilation listing a proof version of this pairing under 2013, on dealer listings that date the proof the same way, and on the proof finish, which matches the 2013 listing rather than the 2014 brilliant uncirculated version. No dated example, original catalog or sales literature has been located, so the year stands as attributed pending contemporary documentation of an exact release date.
The 2013 Cannabis & Slave Queen Double Obverse SBSS Proof Silver Round carries no brand legend or mint mark, so its issuer attribution rests on design identity. The pairing matches the Silver Bullet Silver Shield designs and is listed in the compilation under the Rob Gray line, which the site treats as the AOCS Mint branch of SBSS. Chris Duane’s separate Silver Shield brand also issued Cannabis and Slave Queen designs, so the shared imagery alone does not settle which line produced a given piece. The compilation is a hobbyist’s secondary source, and the attribution is presented as attributed, not confirmed. Production-partner attribution for SBSS issues is covered on the AOCS Mint page.
