The 1986 ACM variety is identified by the “ACM” mint mark below the date and a distinct set of measurable die characteristics. There is a star on either side of the date.

The Alamo façade displays five total windows, consisting of three upper windows across the front and one window on each side section. The structure shows a coarse, uneven stone texture with limited fine architectural detail.

The inscription “REMEMBER THE ALAMO – GOLIAD” is positioned above the Alamo, rendered in a raised format with rounded, often weakly defined letters.

The Six Flags are generally well defined. The Spanish flag (center left) shows crowned elements with smooth, minimally defined crown lines. The Mexican flag (lower left) lacks clear interior detail. The American flag (lower right) displays stars represented as small raised dots.
