Presidents of the Republic of Texas

Presidents of the Republic of Texas Silver Rounds

4 Round Silver Set

Overview

The Presidents of the Republic of Texas silver rounds are a four-coin series produced by Lone Star Mint of Plano, Texas in 1987. The series commemorates the four individuals who served as President of the Republic of Texas between 1836 and 1845.

Each round is struck in 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and features a presidential portrait obverse paired with a shared Texas State Capitol reverse. The presence of the LSM mint mark across all issues confirms consistent attribution to Lone Star Mint. They were sold individually and also packaged in a capital plastic 4 coin set holder with box (below).

This series represents one of the few structured Texas-history themed bullion sets produced by a regional private mint during the late 1980s.
