1984 Republican National Convention Silver Round

The obverse features a right-facing portrait of President Ronald Reagan surrounded by the legend: 1984 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION. Eight stars are positioned around the portrait. Artist initials RLB appear below the bust truncation, with an additional small artist mark positioned near the rear neckline.

The reverse depicts the Dallas skyline as it appeared during the early 1980s, including the prominent Reunion Tower at right. Above the skyline appears: ONE TROY OUNCE, .999, FINE SILVER. The lower perimeter bears the inscription: DALLAS • TEXAS. Centered below the skyline is the interlocking RM mint mark.
